Job Vacancy - Poultry Farm Worker/Egg Packer

Skills/Knowledge

 

• Previous poultry experience desirable, but not essential as full training given.
• Workers are required to be fit and healthy, as manual handling is a key part of the job.
• Own transport essential due to location of the farm.
• Ability to work on own initiative  

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  

• Quality checking, grading, packing and stacking eggs.
• Monitoring of bird welfare.
• Checking bird consumption of water and feed.
• Recording completed activities on daily/weekly checklists.
• Trouble-shoot issues and escalate appropriately.
• Maintain a tidy working environment
• Contribute to regular housekeeping.
• Adhere to health and safety laws and policies

  

Working Hours

Part time – 8.30 – 1pm Monday to Friday. We can be flexible on this.

 

Hourly Rate - £12.25 per hour
