About Appledore Farm

Appledore Farm was first bought by my Great Grandparents where they took on the poultry business from the previous owner. There was already a feed mill in place using grain from the farm and the same system/principle is still in place today. We converted all of the poultry over to Free Range in 2010 using smaller mobile sheds. This allows us to operate a multi-age site which helps to keep a consistant supply of eggs to our customers all the year round.

We have been long standing supporters of the British Hen Welfare trust that help us to re-home our birds when they reach the end of their lay with us.
